Nothing beats an afternoon tea and it’s a good job too because London is brimming with them. But what if you could have a London themed afternoon tea whilst overlooking our impressive skyline?
Oblix is the more casual (yet very sophisticated) lounge bar in the Shard and it does not disappoint. Located on the 32nd floor, expect to be blown away by panoramic views whilst sipping on Oblix blend tea and nibbling on some of London’s finest produce.

As afternoon tea themes go, Oblix has hit the nail on the head by solely focusing on all that London has to offer in its diverse range of boroughs.
Who knew that Hackney smokes some of the best salmon using nothing but bricks? Or Lambeth cures amazing Angus beef? Or even that Harrow has some of the best damn honeycomb you could possibly want in your dessert?
Chef Marcus Eaves and pastry chef Julienne Philippe have focused on London’s finest ingredients and highlighted them beautifully in their new London Afternoon Tea menu. We recommend the Southwark sandwich, which is balanced with spices from Borough Market and the Putney, which is based around Cadbury’s Crunchie bar.
The London Afternoon tea starts from £38 per person and is available Monday to Friday from 12pm-3:30pm each day. Reservation and general information can be found here.
