Lettuce tell you something meat lovers – there’s no need to fret over Pret’s veggie move. We may have canine teeth, but we don’t need to devour meat all the time. It’s good for our guts and the environment to occasionally lay off the flesh. Besides, there’s a silly taboo that comes with vegetarianism – it seems like there’s always a need to justify your decision, which is slightly crazy. Mainly because meat free foods are bloody delicious. Cake isn’t made of meat, after all.
After releasing it’s annual results this week, coffee and food chain Pret a Manger have revealed a massive increase in customers interested in their vegetarian options. This June, they’re launching a new campaign ‘Not Just For Veggies’ in order to serve up meat free food to the masses. Part of the campaign includes opening a pop up that exclusively serves vegetarian dishes in Soho.
