An afternoon tea with a dress code? The Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge are offering just that with their absolutely fabulous designer afternoon tea, Prêt-à-Portea

This legendary tea is designer EVERYTHING. From the Knightsbridge setting which neighbours Harrods and Harvey Nicks, to the high-fashion bakes and biscuits with names à la mode. What’s more, this legendary tea is turning ten years old and to celebrate pastry chef Mourad Khiat has recreated ten of his favourite fashion moments in a selection exquisite biscuits, bakes and fancies.

The tea is available 1pm – 5.30pm daily and the pastry creations include…

Dolce and Gabbana’s duo of blackcurrant bavarois and star anise pannacotta, topped with chocolate owl dress design.

Jason Wu’s romantic cherry bavarois and coconut cream topped with playful pink skirt and biscuit heel.

The £52 ticket price also comes with mouth-watering selection of miniature savoury skewers, taster spoons, elegant canapés and tea sandwiches as well as your choice from a huge choice of premium teas. Or you can upgrade to some bubbles with a glass of with a glass of Laurent-Perrier for £62.00 or go for the ‘Couture’ option and add a glass of Laurent-Perrier Rosé, Bollinger Rosé or Ruinart blanc de blancs for £70. This is the perfect accompaniment to a trip to the London Fashion Week Festival this week which you can purchase tickets for via our sister app Fever, either at Silver or Bronze standard.

Heads up, the dress code is ‘elegant smart casual; no shorts, vests, sportswear, flip-flops, ripped jeans or baseball caps’. Hell, yeah.
