Pasta ‘n’ Goulash return with their heart-warming food to keep you going through the colder months.
Fill your bellies with the ultimate comfort food as The Budapest Bar & Kitchen takes up residency under the railway arches of Cambridge Heath Overground Station.
They’re celebrating the neon-lit ruin nightlife of the Hungarian capital in this quirky east London space. We reckon it’s the perfect place to take shelter from the inevitable cold and rain that autumn in London brings and warm up with a bread bowl filled with a hearty Hungarian goulash. This is comfort food to the extreme.
One thing we would mention though is that Hungarian cuisine definitely isn’t the ideal option for your vegan mate, Skye. The menu is meat-centric – filled with beef and cheese – so come hungry and enjoy the decadent dishes with a bottle of Hungarian red. Cheers! Or, as they say in Hungary, egészségére!
The pop-up runs from the 4th October to the 22nd December and on the 31st December and is open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 11pm and Thursday to Saturday 5pm to midnight. You can book online on their website and you’ll find them at 298-299 Railway Arches, Cambridge Heath Road, E2 9HA.
