Ben & Jerry’s have long known the persuasive powers of ice cream. Now, they’re putting it to good use across London as they dish out free Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice Cream in order to encourage more voters. They’ve aptly renamed the flavour for the occasion to ‘Give a Fudge’. But they will only scoop out to the people who register to vote before the deadline on Monday 18th April. We would call it bribery, but then who doesn’t want political empowerment (especially the tasty kind!).
If you want to get some FREE ice cream of your own (and obviously register to vote), the tour will be visiting:
Hackney Town Hall on Friday 1st April (from 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm)
Windrush Square, Brixton on Saturday 2nd April (from 12pm – 2pm)
Clapton Park Estate – Pedro Youth Club, Hackney on Friday 8th April (from 2pm – 4pm)
Noel Park estate, South Tottenham on Saturday 9th April (from 2pm – 4pm).
The ice cream team will also be visiting colleges and universities across the capital, from Waltham Forest to Ealing, giving out of 10,000 scoops of the ‘Give a Fudge’ flavour to students.
More of a milkshake fan? These boozy treats are perfect for naughty weekend.
