An art exhibition in London is showcasing the best travel photography of the year and giving us some serious holiday envy.
But it’s less poolside snaps of your newly tanned legs and more unexpected moments of beauty in enchanting foreign lands.
The Travel Photography of the Year exhibition is back in London, and if you head down to Greenwich this August you’ll be able to pursue a series of beautiful travel photographs unlike any you’ve ever seen before.
It turns out holiday snaps can be so much more than just artificially posed pictures of you and your sunburnt mates holding brightly-coloured cocktails. Who knew, right? Photographers from 120 countries have taken part to capture moving depictions of life, cultures, wildlife and landscape all over the planet.
The exhibition is open seven days a week and it’s free to visit, with no bookings necessary. You’ll find it in the Stockwell Building at 10 Stockwell Street, SE10 9BD. It’s open Monday to Thursday from 11am to 6pm, Friday to Saturday from 11am to 7.30pm and Sunday 11am to 5pm. Catch it while you can, because it’s on from now until 3rd of September.
