In a city like London, there are, naturally, plenty of incredible burger joints. But honestly, our love affair with the beefy behemoths means that we’re all too happy when another burger spot opens up in London. London’s latest offering, temper BURGER, takes the beloved restaurant’s BBQ wizardry and sustainable practices and wraps it up inside a bun.
The temper BURGER restaurant takes one of temper’s beloved menu items, the cheeseburger taco, and supersizes it back (or regular sizes it) into full-sized smash-burger format. It’s the first-ever burger-specialising concept from the restaurant group – and trust us when we say it’s a smash.
What to expect from temper BURGER
The new restaurant is being launched as an important part of temper’s focus on sustainability and whole-animal butchery. Through temper’s in-house butchering and ageing, they can create minimal waste, use fewer cattle, and still create delicious products.
The emphasis is on smash burgers, so expect crispy, super-thin beef patties stacked high. But, naturally, they’re not just sticking to the core basics. You know they have to play a little bit! Each burger comes with two patties, and choices include the likes of “a melt-in-your-mouth Kimcheese Burger; a Sloppy Joe paired with smoky chilli; and a range of Beef, Chicken and Veggie burgers.”
On the side, you can enjoy temper’s skinny fries or beef-fat chips, or opt for the other incredibly indulgent side dishes. How can you resist chilli cheese fries, “served with a mini-raclette burner and topped with bourbon pickled chillies, confit garlic and crispy shallots”? They’re also serving up temper favourites, such as their Aged-Beef Nachos, and more.
And for the drinks menu, temper has partnered up with London cocktail brand, MOTH, to serve up their delicious canned libations. Wash down your burger with a Margarita, a Mojito, or a Negroni. The zippy and refreshing drinks are the perfect match for the juicy, drippy, fatty burger beasts.
Where is it?
You can find temper BURGER over in West London at White City’s Television City. You’ll find it at Unit 8, 2, Television Centre, 101 Wood Lane, W12 7FR. The nearest station is Wood Lane; it’s literally right across the street!
Said temper Co-Founder, Sam Lee de Lagonell:
We are thrilled to introduce temper BURGER to the London community. Since having first launched back in 2016, we are delighted to continue temper’s journey and see it grow from strength to strength, and to partner with the likes of MOTH is so exciting for us. Expect to find all your favourite flavours and the usual quality, but now between buns – temper in every bite.
