We also love happy hour, where we can get the rounds in for a fraction of the usual price. So, naturally, we’re enamoured with the newest happy hour deal from Covent Garden’s Doughnation. They’re doling out bottomless pizza and pitchers to keep our stomachs filled, our thirsts sated, and our wallets safe.
That’s right – bottomless pizza and pitchers. And before we get into any arguments about semantics or grammar, I’ll make it very clear. The pizza is endless. And the pitchers are also endless. (Within the time of your booking, naturally.)
Bottomless pizza and pitchers
The happy hour deal is available on Thursday, Friday, or Sunday, from 4-8pm. Sounds like the perfect excuse to leave work just a little bit early for some pizza-munching and spritz-sipping. But, naturally, there are a few rules…
- Bottomless pizza and pitchers lasts for one hour. If you’re late, they won’t extend your time slot, so be sure to turn up on time!
- Each guest can order one pizza at a time. New pizzas will only be served once you’ve finished the pizza in front of you.
- The deal only includes certain pizza toppings: Margherita, Covent Garden Vegan, Pepperoni, and Potato Pizza. However, if you really want a specific pizza, you can upgrade for an extra charge.
- And as for the pitchers, guests can choose from three refreshing spritzes: the Hugo Spritz, Grapefuit and Rosemary Spritz, or Aperol-style Il Botanista Spritz.
The bottomless pizza and pitchers deal costs £35 per person. But with pizzas starting at £13.95 and spritzes running between £10 and £13, by the second pizza or cocktail, you’re pretty much eating and drinking for free!
