9 New Year’s Eve Parties That You Need On Your Radar

It’s been one hell of a year, and we don’t really mean that in a good way. The best (and only) way to end it is with a big old party. Here’s a few options for you…

1. Pandora’s Box at Gilgamesh, Camden

Dance in the footsteps of A-list celebs, including Olly Murs and Paris Hilton. (Yep, that’s right). Gilgamesh is Camden’s most glamorous venue and it’s hosting a huge NYE extravaganza. With 3 rooms boasting top DJs and live performers, this promises to be a magical end to 2016.

2. The Wolf of Wall Street at indigo at The O2

Enjoy a themed evening with the ‘traders’ in one of the city’s greatest venues. The night will be full of surprises, including a magical midnight confetti shower (oops, spoiled that one). There’ll be a photo booth, ping pong tables, and a chance to win a weekend getaway in New York! 3. ‘The Views’ NYE Fireworks Boat Party

All aboard the Dutch Master for a banging evening of frolicking and fireworks. You’ll have prime view of the midnight fireworks, without the misery of standing in a crowd of sweaty Londoners. The boat will depart from Greenwich Pier at 8.45pm sharp, so get there early or it’ll float off without you. After alighting the boat in the new year, you’ll head to a secret location* to continue the party. But only if you can handle it…

4. The Shoreditch Takeover at Sink, Shoreditch

Head to Shoreditch’s largest venue for a night of retrotainment. There’ll be beer pong, classic red cups, hip-hop tunes and lots of UV paint. (On the walls. No one’s going to be spraying you with glow-in-the-dark paint. That’s so 2011). This will be the finale to a fab series of TAKEOVER events, and it’s set to be a sell out!

5. Lost in Wonderland at 93 Feet East, Shoreditch

Get lost in Wonderland, a.k.a London’s trendiest venue, The Old Truman Brewery. The night will be split across 4 rooms; the Rabbit Hole, the Cheshire Woods, the Queen’s Domain and the Mad Hatter’s Castle. Each will play a different genre of music, ranging from funk and house to soul and r&b. Arrive early for an exclusive invite to the Mad Hatter’s tea party, where you’ll get complimentary cocktails made by the Hatter himself!

6. Twisted Circus at Shaka Zulu, Camden

7. Fire & Ice at Cafe 1001, Shoreditch

This event is perfect for the hungry drunks… there’s cake for goodness sake. Head to Cafe 1001 on NYE for the hottest and coolest event of the year. The night will be split across 2 rooms: the Ice Room, hosted by the glamorously dressed Snow Queen; and the Fire Room, hosted by the Goddess of Fire and featuring performances from a fabulous fire breather. Each room will be playing different music, ranging from funky house to 90s classics. Above all, the cafe will be open all night, with sweet offerings of cakes, muffins and hot food. 8. TURNT House Party at The Driver, King’s Cross

Everyone loves a house party, and TURNT always throw the best ones. The only catch? You actually have to leave the house. Party across 5 different floors and expect hours of Old Skool tracks. 9. Midnight by the Thames at 28 West, Canary Wharf

Located on the beautiful Canary Wharf riverfront, 28 West is a glamorous club promising big things this New Year’s Eve. There’ll be confetti cannons, a champagne reception (for the early birds) and stunning views across the city. Oh and there’s also fussball… the classiest part of the evening, of course.
