A rooftop bar inspired by an abandoned fairground is launching in November and there’ll be hot gin and cheese.
Replacing central London’s summer hotspot, Sisu, this new concept bar, named Woody Bear, will bring the first ever wintertime pop-up to the rooftop venue. Themed around an abandoned urban fairground and hidden behind a secret entrance, you can expect repurposed see-saws, tea-cup fairground booths and swings, all overlooking the London skyline.
The refreshments will be just as you’d expect from a cosy, winter rooftop; hot gin punch, boozy eggnog and lots of melty cheese. Madame & Monsieur will be dishing up grilled cheese sandwiches, while gooey raclette will be served from a giant, 6kg wheel. Meanwhile, warming winter cocktails will be served from a coin-operated cocktail dispenser. Yep, this is exactly what we live for, folks.
You’ll find Woody Bear behind a secret entrance on the corner of Marble Arch and Park Lane, at 535 Oxford Street. Keep an eye on their website for further updates and announcements.
