If you’re the kinda Londoner who likes to combine their snack and sarnie (we’re all about saving time, right?), then you’re in for a real treat. Walkers are bringing a speakeasy style pop-up cafe to London, serving up crisp sandwiches to those in the know. The cafe will be hidden behind a rack of crisps in a news agents – Chris Peter’s News on Tooley Street near London Bridge. No, we aren’t kidding. They will be open for business from 8th September – 24th September. Once behind the hidden entrance, guests will be able to build their own sandwich from scratch, using the brand new limited edition flavours. We’re talking your Cheese Toastie & Worcester Sauces to your Roast Chicken & Mayos.
To guarantee a slice of the sarnie, you’ll need to book tickets for £3 here in advance from 2nd September. ‘Walker-ins’ (boom boom) are also allowed. Just remember to say the password ‘Barmy for sarnies’ on arrival.
