If you, like so many other millennials, can’t get enough of the green stuff – and by that we mean avocado – you might want to try these.
It’s not the first time we’ve seen avocado cocktails pop up in the capital, but the bartenders at The Great Northern Hotel in Kings Cross are putting a spicy new twist on this millenial-style drink.
Its full name is the ‘Ahau Chamahez‘ which – if a quick Google search is telling the truth – is a tribute to one of the two Mayan gods of medicine and healing. So this drink should definitely sort you out. The cocktail is a mix of tequila, chilli, lime, coriander, avocado, soda, and olive bitters (whatever they are) so it’s bound to pack a spicy punch.
You can try the cocktail at The Great Northern Hotel’s newly refurbished GNH Bar, and it’ll set you back a spicy £12. It even includes a side dish of tortilla chips, so you’ll be getting a little more for your money, alongside your alcoholic avocado drink.
