Feel the love at the Summer Love Film Festival.
You’ll be warm in the sun this summer, but are you also ready to feel warm and fuzzy inside? The Summer Love Film Festival arrives in Granary Square this week, and we’re pretty confident you’ll strike up a summer romance with this gorgeous outdoor cinema. A collaboration between Everyman Cinema, Pride in London, and Gay Times, the selection of films is set to celebrate love in all its forms.
The first thing you’re going to fall in love with is the location. The Summer Love Film Festival takes place on the banks of Regent’s Canal, with punters snuggled onto gorgeous grassy steps. Grab your beau, kick back, and marvel at one of the largest outdoor screens in London. Which leads us nicely onto the second charm of this festival: the lineup. Grease, West Side Story, Romeo + Juliet, La La Land, and Black Panther are just a handful of the films on offer during the run.
Oh, and the final thing you’ll fall for? The price: Summer Love is entirely free! Because love don’t cost a thing, you can see the full lineup for free, as well as the Wimbledon matches they’ll be showing. Summer Love Film Festival runs from June 27th to July 15th, and Kings Cross’ Everyman Cinema will host any screenings ruined by the weather, as well as those with age ratings. Seems like love, actually, is all around us (if you’re in Kings Cross).
Location: Granary Square, Kings Cross, N1C 4AA.Opening hours: Matinees are at 1pm, evening films start at either 7pm or 8pm.
Entry: Free! Find more free things to do in London.
