Have you ever wanted to do an escape room but felt a bit weird about being locked inside? Do you love puzzles and testing your own abilities – mentally and physically? Then you’ll want to round up your friends and head straight over to Vauxhall, where a thrilling new experience awaits. SENSAS challenges you and your mates to explore a series of mind-bending tasks and activities that will turn your world upside down.
SESNAS has built a stellar reputation entertaining kids and kids-at-heart across Europe. They count an absolutely mind-boggling number of experiences scattered around France in particular. And now they also count a flagship London location to their name.
What happens during the experience?
It’s important to note that SENSAS is not an escape room. They stress that the door is never locked, and there is no requirement to progress if you feel uncomfortable. Instead, it’s an experience that overwhelms and overstimulates, asking you to adapt, overcome, and perhaps even face your fears. You’ll discover the hidden, unlocked power and potential of your five senses as you make your way through the experience. And don’t worry, you’re not all left completely in the dark. A Master of Senses is on hand at all times, guiding you from afar through the experience.
They’re pretty tight-lipped about what exactly the challenges involve, but a lot of them take place in the dark. During these you’re left, without the ability of sight, to complete the challenge by relying on your other senses. You might be tasked with finding a hidden object, identifying something mysterious, dodging lasers, and plenty more.
Each successfully completed challenge nets you a token as a reward. It then all finishes up with a photo shoot in their anti-gravity room, where things aren’t quite what they seem…
When the dust clears, the tokens you earned are converted into donations that SENSAS makes to a local charity partner. Supporting the work of the good folks over at Disability Snowsport UK, SENSAS gives you a good time and spreads the love around. So, you better give the experience your best effort. After all, it’s for charity!
Who can do it?
The experience is accessible to a wide range of ages, with a seven-year-old just as capable of completing the challenges as you or your gran!
With room for up to 15 people per session, and the ability to easily book successive slots, SENSAS is perfect for group activities. Whether it’s a birthday party, a work team-building outing, or even a stag or hen do, SENSAS can accommodate all sorts of occasions.
So grab some mates, round up the crew, and head on down to SENSAS to test out your senses.
