Stuck for stag do ideas? Better read on, because Secret London is here to save the day.
Stress not, for our stag party recommendations will have your gang raising hell until the wee hours of the morning.
For an active stag party…
1. Go axe-throwing
Guaranteed to get the testosterone flowing, this one is not to be combined with drinking. Can’t stress that enough. Whistle Punks axe-throwing club allows you to put on a show of Viking strength and accuracy, as well as keeping everyone on their toes.
2. Step up to the oche
Fancy throwing something, but don’t want to lose a limb in the process? Flight Club might be more your speed. Order a round of beers or one of their ludicrously oversized cocktails, grab a lane and take aim. They also put out some spectacularly large pizzas, enough to feed a hungry stag party.
3. Feel the need for speed
Go-karting is so last year. Track Days have loads of driving experiences within the greater London area, offering everything from drift lessons to climbing behind the wheel of a Ferrari.
For a fancy stag do…
4. Tackle a big-ass steak
It’s a classic stag do move for a reason, and London has some brilliant steakhouses to choose from. We’d recommend Tramshed, New Street Grill, or our old favourites Hawksmoor for the best steak experience in town. Pick your cut and dive in!
5. Raise a glass of Scotland’s finest
Stag party drinks have never been quite this fancy. A visit to Black Rock, possibly the best speciality whisky bar in London, is a fine way to celebrate your pal’s journey out of bachelorhood.
6. Show a winning hand
If you’re feeling lucky, why not up the stakes with a game of poker? Grosvenor Victoria Casino is home to the biggest poker room in the city, and plays host to many of London’s top pros. For bigger bets, Genting Casino Cromwell Mint in Kensington offers high rollers a chance to show their hand.
7. Take a trip to a cigar bar
The more discerning gentlemen amongst you might envisage yourselves puffing on a cigar and having conversations about lofty topics. Well, you can get halfway there with a trip to Cigars at No. Ten, a cigar bar offering you a huge choice of Cuba’s finest.
For a boozy stag party…
8. Play a game of Bogan Bingo
“What’s wild about bingo?” I hear you ask. Well, Bogan Bingo doesn’t offer the kind of bingo your granny is used to playing. Most of your time is spent drinking, belting out the words to 80s classics, or trying to keep up with the irrepressible Australian hosts.
9. Hop on a brewery tour
If the groom-to-be has a taste for the amber nectar, maybe a brewery tour is the best option for the stag party? A trip to Camden Town Brewery, the home of London favourites such as Camden Hells, should tick all the boxes. Not complete without a visit to the bar afterwards, of course.
10. Sail the Thames on a party boat
Well, it wouldn’t be a stag party roundup without the option of a literal booze cruise, would it? London Party Boats claim to have a boat for every occasion, and will work with you to sort the entertainment, drinks, and everything else you’d need for the the best possible send-off.
