West London police have issued a warning to all friends of Ash Ketchum stating that the Twickenham Police station is NOT – (capitalised so you know their serious) – I repeat NOT a #pokestop.
[twitter]The warning was released mere hours after the launch of Pokemon Go in the UK which makes us believe that Twickenham police station must have been a popular spot for players which leads us to speculate that maaaaaybe means there are some really cool Pokemon there – but you didn’t hear that from us. Besides, a police spokesman has apparently urged players that they ‘have not yet spotted a Pikachu hiding away in the cells.’ Hmmm, if you say so officer.
Already making rules for this new app the seemingly lighthearted warning from Richmond police also bans Pokemoning and driving and warns against the dangers of catching them all draining your battery… so play safe Poke trainers.
