The Jam Tree are hosting their first ever rum festival this July, and it’s set to bring the flavours of the Caribbean and Latin America to London.
Festival season is upon us and rather than getting muddy listening to music, some of us favour stuffing our faces with street food and good drinks instead. The Jam Tree are kicking off the summer period in the best way possible by throwing a month long festival dedicated to the sweet, smoky flavours of rum.
Whether you dream of sipping on piña coladas by the beach or downing a mojito after a long day in the office, this festival is really just about appreciating rum as much as it should be.
Based at their Clapham and Chelsea branches, this festival will incorporate rum in every way possible. From the BBQ menu to the new extensive food menu and a list of events to get everyone into the right spirits.
Tastings, cocktail masterclasses and tempting rum punch bowls will be set alongside the soundtrack of reggae, ska and salsa tunes to really transport you away from the grey pavements of London.
Expect to feast on new additions to the menu like baby back ribs with a spiced rum glaze, or enjoy a complimentary mojito on Mojito Mondays, all while kicking back in large sunny gardens (that will be aptly heated if the British weather lets us down).
The Jam Tree Rum Festival runs from 1st-31st July. Check out all the Rum Festival events here and keep updated with The Jam Tree via their Twitter.
