In desperate need of a little r&r this winter? It turns out that escaping the harsh reality/greyness of city life need not be a plane or train ride away. Hidden in an unassuming building in Clerkenwell, Airbnb have teamed up with Pantone to bring a flora-filled oasis to the heart of the capital, inspired by their colour of the year – ’15-0343 Greenery’. With the house there’s a woodland reception, an indoor greenhouse that doubles as a dining room, garden bedroom with mown lawn, topiaries and soporific plants, jacuzzi tub and a tented nook for children to sleep in.
The Inside Out House, which is listed live on Airbnb, is available for you and 3 other people to book yourselves into between 27th and 30th January, for £200 a night. Also, in celebration of Airbnb’s new experiences and trips, the Greenery aims to rid Londoners of all January blues. Alongside an oasis of tranquillity, there will be a variety of experiences held in the building, celebrating the launch of Airbnb’s ‘trips’.
They are offering trial ‘trips’ which you can book for free here. Experiences on offer include sessions to make your own gin, Tai Chi and tea workshops, as well as ‘Body Engineering’ workshops.
