London’s first shop dedicated to the weirdly picturesque world of terrariums is just as Instagrammable as we all thought it would be.
London Terrariums is all about creating an indoor plant-based eden and boy, does it hit the brief on the head. The concept came from “a sincere desire to engage with nature in the urban environment” and we have to say, it looks as lovely as it sounds.
Terrariums are the perfect means for busy Londoners to feel like they’re doing their bit for the green environment. In case many of you hadn’t noticed, the luxury of a garden costs an arm and a leg so if we can stick some fancy terrariums on our windowsill then so be it.
The shop itself is a wonderland of all things green and totally flatlay-worthy but they also offer customers the chance to make their very own. Although London Terrariums are busy with private orders, transforming interiors and caring for their store, they still find the time to run regular workshops teaching us all how it’s done.
And if there ever was a more beautiful place for a workshop, we dare you to find one.
Seriously, so damn Instagrammable.
Just try taking a bad picture here:
If you can’t make it down to the New Cross store, just sit and admire all the plants …
Or all their visually pleasing shelving displays.
You can find London Terrariums at 106a New Cross Road, near New Cross Gate station, SE14 5BA.
