In a video posted to Twitter by Barnaby Nerberka, a crowd can be seen holding signs with messages such as “My body, my choice”, while hugging each other. The large group, which consisted of around 20 people, included young children.
Under the current social distancing rules, Brits shouldn’t be meeting with anyone outside of their household. They should also remain two metres apart from other people when leaving home for necessary trips, which include essential work, grocery shopping, medical visits and exercise.
These regulations were initially put in place on March 23. However, on Thursday April 30, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that a lockdown exit strategy would be laid out next week.
