L’Escargot in Soho has built up quite a name for itself over the past 90 years; winning lots of awards and hosting tons of big names (including Dame Judi Dench, Elton John and the late Princess Diana).
All of next week (27th February – 3rd March 2017), the legendary restaurant will be serving up delicious crêpes in aid of one of London’s most prevalent charities, Centrepoint. Aiming to give young homeless people a better future, and ultimately eliminate youth homelessness, Centrepoint is such an important charity. That’s why, coinciding with Shrove Tuesday, L’Escargot are flipping pancakes all week and sending half of the proceeds to the cause.
The special crêpe menu will comprise of 4 savoury options, including a Crepe “Royale” with Smoked Salmon and Hollandaise, Ham Hock and Gruyere, Wild Mushroom and Spinach and Asian Duck. For the sweet toothed amongst you, there’ll be 3 choices; Grand Marnier, Nutella and Caramelised Banana, or Raspberry and Chantilly. We’ll have one of each, s’il vous plaît…
