We love touring vans that provide Londoners with summertime alcoholic beverages, and this one is no exception. A van serving up nothing but Limoncello is touring the capital this summer.
It’s the Italian lemon liqueur that’s perfect during the summertime … or anytime really. The perfect little shot of lemony goodness after a huge rich meal and it’s now making the rounds around London.
Pococello is the brainchild of the guys behind Pizza Pilgrims and Chase Distillery (pizza and Limoncello? Yes please). Their aim is simple – to bring some of the best Limoncello that any of us Londoners can get our hands on outside of Italy. Sounds like a very gracious cause and we’re willing to help.
Touring the capital in a converted Piaggio Ape, Pococello will be creating some seriously citrusy cocktails using their main ingredient and obviously, allowing customers to sample the goods in its original form.
It all kicks off on June 8th at The Duke of Sussex by Waterloo station and will go onto The Table Café in Southwark the very next day on June 9th. The Table Café sounds especially tempting as they’ll be hosting a Hogocello which will be serving up hog roasts alongside Negronis and Limoncello tonics.
Sunday 18th June: The Lillie Langtry, 19 Lillie Rd, SW6 1UE.
Monday 19th June: The Colton Arms, 187 Greyhound Rd, W14 9SD.
Thursday 29th June – Saturday 1st July: Albion pubs across London including 10 Thornhill Rd, N1 1HW; 2-3 New Bridge St, EC4V 6AA; 94 Goldsmiths Row, E2 8QY; 121 Hammersmith Rd, W14 0QL.
Stay up to date with where Pococello’s van could go next on their Twitter and Instagram.
