Lidl are releasing extra tickets for their not-so-Lidl gin event, popping up in Soho later this month.
Lidl have made some serious waves in the gin scene this year, all down to their dreamy selection of premium gin flavours. The retailer’s cult-favourite Hortus Gin range includes the highly sought after Rhubarb & Ginger, as well as their signature Citrus Garden gin. But more on this free pop-up gin event, eh?
After being announced on October 9, tickets for Lidl’s House of Hortus event disappeared in just a few hours. (Pretty unsurprising considering it’s a FREE event with FREE GIN.) But the good news is, Lidl have since announced that they’ll be releasing an extra bunch of tickets; giving us all another chance to get our hands on some of that pretty pink gin, which – did we mention this? – is FREE.
The House of Hortus is off on a nationwide tour, starting in London before heading off to Cardiff and Edinburgh. The pop-up will feature a gorgeous sensory Botanical Garden, a Pink Gin Liqueur Lounge and a Spirits in the Sky Bar (big up Gareth Gates).
The beautiful pop-up bar will be in London on October 26 and 27, and there’ll be gin-drinking opportunities aplenty. Guests will be able to try both new and existing gins from the Hortus range, each served in a suitably themed environment. For example, Raspberry, Rhubarb & Ginger and Rose & Pomegranate gin will be served in the Pink Gin Liqueur Lounge, while their Artisan Dry, Oriental Spiced and Citrus Garden gins can be enjoyed in the Botanical Garden. The experience will end on a literal high, where guests can head up to the ‘Spirits in the Sky’ bar; a more festive affair, where visitors can enjoy Lidl’s broader range beneath the stars.
“So how do I get my hands on these golden tickets?”, I hear you cry. Well…
Entry to Lidl’s House of Hortus (19 Greek Street, Soho) is totally free and includes TWO free drinks, but tickets must be booked in advance. The new batch of tickets will be available from 6pm on Thursday, October 11.
