Homeslice have become legendary in London for their table-dominating pizzas. For the uninitiated it can certainly be a surprise when those table-shaking behemoths land on the table. But they’re just as well known for their legendary topping choices as they are their perfect-for-sharing-sized pizzas. Think wagyu beef with truffle crème fraiche, or confit duck with granola and pickles. And now, they’re partnering with Symplicity Foods to offer up a fully plant-based menu at their Homeslice Shoreditch location.
Homeslice’s vegan offering have already gone down a storm across their locations. Combined with Symplicity Food’s pedigree as a leading plant-based-foods-solution-provider (aka people who make plant-based foods for restaurants to sell), it was a no-brainer. Symplicity Food counts such wide-ranging restaurants as Dishoom, Bleecker Burger, and Mildred’s among the many places selling their products. So you know the products are good. And we’ve already mentioned just how legendary the pies at Homeslice are: they’re huge, but there’s no skimping on quality. So you definitely won’t want to miss the new offerings from Homeslice Shoreditch. Just as satisfying for vegans as for meat-eaters looking for their pizza fix.
Diners can expect the classic margherita pizza (naturally) and the Homeslice staple that is the chorizo, corn, and coriander pie. Also on offer, among other choices, are pizzas topped with “Creole Mince, Pineapple & Scotch Bonnet Jam, Baby Gem Lettuce, Spring Onion & Red Chilli”. There’s certainly no shortage of flavour on the vegan pies at Homeslice Shoreditch.
The new menu has officially launched, as of Monday June 13, and will run through into the foreseeable future. Keep an eye on their social channels for updates and specials. Be sure to bring a friend or two, or a very healthy appetite at least.
