The Savoy‘s Beaufort Bar is launching the ‘Cocktail of the Month’ inspired by some of the world’s best-loved books.

Launching this October are a selection of drinks inspired by the wonderful Harry Potter series, JRR Tolkien’s The Hobbit and, as a celebration for the 125th anniversary of the Sir Arthur Conan Doyle series, Sherlock Holmes.

The magical Chosen One cocktail is inspired by Hogwarts and will celebrate 20 years of the Harry Potter world. Beetroot cordial, Bénédictine, silver and salted butter are mixed together to create some pretty distinctive and downright mystical flavours.

Ingredients such as honey, lemon, mead and ale will be expertly crafted to create a celebration of Bilbo Baggins’ birthday as portrayed in The Hobbit. The Arkenstone cocktail will also have a sneaky inclusion of raspberry, which will surely be recognised by any avid Hobbit fan.

The Elementary cocktail will be paying homage to all things Sherlock Holmes and will come served in one of the Beaufort Bar’s vintage coupe glasses because, you know, it’s fancy. This Manhattan-style drink will have orange Curaçao, poppy liqueur and absinthe, all of which are some of Holmes’ most infamous vices.

Each cocktail will be available each month and for booking information, visit the Beaufort Bar website.
