Masterchef boys Billy and Jack are back with a brand new supperclub at classic American steakhouse Christopher’s and it’s a match made in heaven.
For three days only from the 18th – 20th October these likely lads are setting up shop at this American restaurant in Covent Garden, and they’re giving the USA’s best known dishes a much-needed makeover.
When you think of American cuisine you’d be forgiven for picturing a Man v. Food style burger stack. The extravagant layers of cheese and beef you’re imagining could surely only be dreamed up in the land of the free, home of the brave. So what a delight it was to experience the classic American flavour combinations we all know and love – like PB & J and chicken and waffles – served up with extra helpings of fine dining-style flair.
Expect an evening of intimate dining (it is a supperclub after all – so don’t bother if you’re allergic to strangers) and five courses of delicious food. We couldn’t stop talking about the Spiced Venison Doughnut or the Chicken ‘n’ Truffle Waffle. Seriously, the truffle gravy was next level.
The experience costs £65 and includes five courses and a welcome cocktail.
