There’s nothing better than a couple of cocktails and a some nibbles shared with your co-workers over the latest office gossip after a long day at work.
So, you’ll be pleased to hear that we’ve found the perfect place for you stressed-out city workers to unwind after a hard day’s grind. The Refinery, New Street Square is the newest location in Drake & Morgan’s impressive restaurant portfolio and it certainly doesn’t disappoint, especially when it comes to their cocktail menu.
They’re serving up a mouth-watering mixture of tried and tested classics and innovative new recipes that are the perfect reward after a long day at the office. Sip on a perfectly seasoned Bloody Mary or dare to be different with their Bees Need Knees (a mix of Botanist gin, cointreau, lemon juice, and honey syrup) or their New Frontier (Bulleit bourbon, vanilla syrup, rhubarb liqueur, and peychaud bitters).
It’s convenient then, that this branch of the Refinery is perfectly located for those of you bringing home the bacon between Fleet Street and Chancery Lane. It promises ‘the perfect escape from the bustling city’ and we have to say, we think their enviously attractive interior delivers on that.
This place really is #interiorgoals. It’s also got a lovely outdoor terrace fully stocked with loads of blankets to keep the evening chill away. Are #exteriorgoals a thing? If so, that term also heavily applies to this place.
The even better news is that their food isn’t half bad either, so you don’t have to worry about finding somewhere to eat after consuming one too many Margaritas (it happens to the best of us!). Choose to chow down on a Wagyu beef burger with blue cheese and tomato chutney or share one of their perfectly presented platters (psst, their mezze board is well worth a try).
You can find The Refinery, New Street Square at Great New St, London EC4A 3BF.
