We’ve seen them all over our Instagram feeds and now they’re landing in London in a restaurant entirely dedicated to the bubble-waffle phenomenon.
Who needs a regular ice cream cone when you can use a weirdly shaped waffle instead, right?
Originally created in Hong Kong, this waffle is made from delicate batter and cooked fresh to order in special moulds that give them their distinct bubble-like appearance. Aaaand they’ve come to the capital at newly opened restaurant, Bufle.
Pair your bubble-waffle with the finest gelato, creative toppings, garnishes that’ll make you go bonkers and hey presto , you’ve got a sweet treat unlike any other.
Get your hands on an Oreo Delight which comes complete with cookies & cream gelato and topped with oreo chocolate cookies. Or opt for a Funky Cereal Club with bubblegum flavoured gelato, rainbow cereal and fresh strawberries. Definitely no shortage of Insta opportunities here …
As well as having the first restaurant in London dedicated to this crazy food trend, Bufle also have their own cocktail bar. Who knew that Strawberry Bellini’s and bubble-waffles went so well together but apparently, they’re the perfect pairing.
For the next two weeks (18th-31st July), they’re offering customers the chance to feast on one of their signature sweet bubble-waffles with a glass of bubbly for just £10.
You can find Bufle at 19 Rupert Street, Soho, near Piccadilly Circus station, W1D 7PA and they’re open daily from 11am-12pm.
