As London’s parks and commons swell with shirtless men in ill-fitting hats and out-of-tune guitars, it is safe to say that summer is in full swing in the nation’s capital. Launching from the gorgeous canal side Number 90 Bar located in Hackney Wick, The Floating Gaardens will offer a plethora of events from open-air film screenings to life drawing sessions, lasting an hour each. Boozy mariners will also be treated to a soundscape garden designed to augment the very taste of the beer.
The barge, which will be running between 30th July to 21st August can accomodate up to 12 people at a time. The catch? If you want to ride the boozy barge, you must enter the free prize draw. The lucky winners will enjoy a complimentary beverage as well delicious canapés. For those unfortunate souls, you can still soak up the canal side atmosphere from Number 90.
