London’s oldest landmark will soon be decking its hallowed halls with tinsel and twinkly lights, ready to serve up some Christmas cheer by the turret-load. That’s right, folks – it’s almost time for the Tower of London to undergo its annual festive glow-up, and this year’s display will look like it’s jumped straight from the pages of a fairytale.
This Christmas, the iconic fortress will transform into a magical storybook adventure, that will bring the Tower’s tales to life. And considering that it’s been proudly perched on the banks of the River Thames for almost 1000 years; it certainly has plenty of them to tell.

Visitors of all ages will be warmly welcomed to the Tower, and invited to explore its many fabled figures, royal romances, and treasured traditions. The legendary landmark’s oh-so extensive history will be brought to life with twinkling decorations, breathtaking installations, and enchanting displays.
Visitors will have the chance to uncover the legends of the Tower’s royal beasts, relive some of the fortress’s iconic love stories, immerse themselves in captivating tales of treasure, heists, and royalty, and explore the Tower’s fascinating Royal Observatory.

There will be plenty of photo opportunities dotted around, from dreamy backdrops to royal thrones. So, you can snap some magical memories, and get them plastered on the front of next year’s Christmas cards.
