As far as I’m concerned, it’s never too early to start penciling plans of festive fun and frolics into your diary. And a date that should most certainly be marked in every Londoner’s calendar is November 14 (this Friday). Because that, my friends, is the date on which Buckingham Palace will finally be throwing open the doors of its first ever Christmas pop-up shop.
The royal residence has decked the halls with tinsel and twinkly lights (or whatever fancy people decorate their house with at Christmastime), and are almost ready to welcome visitors to peruse and purchase a whole of host of fantastically festive items.

Nestled in a cosy corner of the 200 year old Royal Mews, the pop-up shop will be inspired by centuries-old royal traditions, and it’ll be bursting at the seams with Christmassy gifts and goodness. Visitors will be able to snap up everything from trinkets and tree decorations to chinaware and chocolate. And you can rest assured that every single item will (quite literally) be fit for a king.
So, pop it in your calendar, Londoners – and prepare to be the ultimate gift-giver this Christmas, knowing that every prezzie you dish out well-and-truly has the royal seal of approval.
Buckingham Palace’s Christmas pop-up shop will be open from November 14, 2025 to January 5, 2026. But if you can’t wait until then to get your hands on some royally festive treats, you can shop the collection here.
