London is a stunning city. It’s full of expansive green spaces, gorgeous tiny parks, historic monuments and architecture, and even a publicly-accessible ruin or two. But our city’s natural and manmade beauty had me thinking. Which part of London is the prettiest? Where is London’s most beautiful borough?
So we posed the question to you. Over on Facebook, we asked our audience, “Which London borough is the most beautiful in the city?” And boy, did you lot have plenty to say?
There was an overwhelming suggestion that no one London borough is by and large the most beautiful, because each one has its own character and its own beauty for those willing to find it. But, hey, where’s the fun in that? We’re here for ANSWERS! So I searched deep into the comments and compiled a list of your answers. And the overwhelming, runaway winner – and the official most beautiful borough in London – is none other than…

It comes as no surprise, really, that Richmond took the top spot. In fact, it’s received no shortage of accolades in the recent past. It’s been named the happiest place to live in the entirety of the UK (twice!). And it was even ranked as the very best borough in London!
And it makes sense that the borough would be praised for its beauty. It’s full of stunning greenery and plenty of wildlife. That’s because it’s home to the likes of the Kew Gardens, Bushy Park, and Hampton Court Palace. It almost has the feel of a countryside town, where you can get lost in nature, whilst still being part of a bustling city.
So, this latest recognition is just another feather in its (assumedly quite heavy by now) cap. In our poll, the borough received almost 3x as many votes as the second-placed borough.

But which other boroughs ranked high on the list? This is the top 10 list of London’s most beautiful boroughs:

And then wayyyy down at the bottom of the list, 3 London boroughs came joint last with just one vote each. These were Harrow, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest.
