A Radio Station Playing Non-Stop Christmas Tunes Has Just Launched

Heart extra Xmas

Heart extra Xmas is all Christmas killer, no rest-of-year filler.

For those of you who’ve made it to November 4th without having a Christmas song pop into your head – congratulations, but that ends now. Radio station Heart extra Xmas has now launched, playing nothing but certified Christmas bangers (Wham, Wizzard, Mariah Carey) and admittedly a few Christmas duds (Leona Lewis, I’m looking at you) from now until Santa slides down your chimney.

Heart extra Xmas is actually a little tardy compared to the uber-keen Sony Movies Christmas, who launched their festive film channel on September 10th (!), but with Bonfire Night almost done, we’re definitely sliding into the unquestioned domain of Christmas. The premise is simple: 24/7 Christmas tunes, with no overly-eager presenters or vibe-killing breaking news to disrupt them.

Hell for some of us, no doubt, but pure, unadulterated joy for the rest. Find out how to listen here.
