1. Desfrute de um brunch turco completo por £14,50
Localizado perto de Marble Arch está o Bursa Kebap Evi, um restaurante turco incrível que serve o brunch dos sonhos – e não custa nada. Delicie-se com pão, molhos, ovos e queijo em abundância servidos numa travessa, enquanto bebe um bule de chá turco autêntico, que está incluído no preço.
Entre os pratos servidos, destacam-se os menemen, que são ovos mexidos ao estilo turco com tomate, pimentos verdes e especiarias, que se juntam ao pão macio servido, e os sigara borek, que são pastéis turcos recheados com queijo. É seguro dizer que este não é o seu brunch comum. A sobremesa nunca é uma má ideia e havia margem de manobra suficiente com o orçamento para pedir a baklava que custa 6,50€ mas partilhada entre dois custa 3,25€ e mantém tudo abaixo dos 20€.

2. Vença a tristeza das segundas-feiras com frango frito coreano e cerveja por £12
Sejamos realistas – as segundas-feiras não são normalmente o dia da semana preferido de toda a gente, mas as pessoas do Korean Dinner Party esperam remediar isso. Todas as segundas-feiras é dia de Chimeak Monday no Korean Dinner Party, onde pode comer frango frito picante, palitos de arroz, batatas fritas, salada de repolho, um molho e uma garrafa de cerveja Asahi, tudo pelo preço baixo de 12 libras, se é que consegue acreditar.
Localizado no topo da Kingly Court, o restaurante é um local animado e divertido para pôr as mãos num frango frito coreano a um preço muito razoável – com todos os acompanhamentos. O preço barato como o inferno significava que havia até espaço para uma entrada cada um, mantendo-o abaixo de £ 20, e a panqueca kimchee e o corndog KDP certamente não decepcionaram.

3. Passeio pelo rio Tamisa num barco Uber por £8,30
Vá para a água num barco Uber da Thames Clipper para ter uma vista deslumbrante de Londres e talvez a sua nova forma favorita de se deslocar pela cidade – e também uma das nossas coisas baratas favoritas para fazer em Londres. 4. Coma uma grande tigela de ramen delicioso por menos de dez libras
Desfrute de uma tigela de ramen retro de assinatura sob um dossel de lanternas brilhantes por £ 9,99 às segundas e terças-feiras no Ramen Yokocho. Apesar de um bilhete para o Japão estar certamente fora do orçamento, uma tigela de ramen nas filiais de Mayfair e Leicester Square do Yokocho pode ser suficiente. As três tigelas de ramen de assinatura que fazem parte da oferta são o Hakata Tonkotsu Ramen, o Tokyo Shoyu Ramen e o Vegan Miso Ramen.
Apesar de serem baratas, estas tigelas de ramen acertaram em cheio em todos os aspectos possíveis, desde o seu delicioso caldo quente até à massa perfeitamente cozinhada. É de facto “uma tentativa obrigatória antes do dia de pagamento”.

Este restaurante francês, situado no Tooting Market, tem uma das melhores ofertas que já vimos. Todas as terças-feiras, o Bordelaise tem uma oferta de bifes na base do “compre um e leve outro” que é muito difícil de deixar passar.
Tanto o bife Onglet como o Flat Iron custam pouco menos de £20, o que significa que os bifes custarão apenas cerca de £10 cada! Por mais 3,50€, não conseguimos resistir ao pão com manteiga, que avisamos ser seriamente viciante. Este negócio preenche todos os requisitos e é uma das nossas coisas baratas favoritas para fazer em Londres.

6. Passar um dia de sonho no Hyde Park
Para sentir o sabor do ar livre, começámos o nosso dia com um passeio nos barcos a pedais do Hyde Park. Um passeio de 30 minutos num destes meninos maus durante as horas de vazio, entre as 10h00 e as 12h00, custa apenas £6,60. Depois de passearmos entre cisnes, patos e gansos e de sermos os capitães do nosso próprio barco, deliciámo-nos com um merecido gelado de comemoração à saída da casa dos barcos, que custou 4 libras.
Um passeio pelo parque com um gelado na mão é mesmo o que o médico receitou. Para o almoço do dia, encontrámo-nos no café Italian Gardens para uma baguete de £6,35 que é melhor apreciada na relva enquanto se aproveita o sol.
Total gasto: £6.60 + £4 + £6.35 = £16.95
7. Delicie-se com uma refeição tailandesa de dois pratos por £18
Todas as terças e quartas-feiras, o Laki Kane em Islington está a oferecer um menu de dois pratos por apenas 18 libras que lhe dará um sabor da Tailândia, mantendo as coisas acessíveis. Começámos com os rolinhos primavera de vegetais, que tivemos o prazer de descobrir que vinham com seis rolinhos, e eram delícias douradas e estaladiças. Para o prato principal, é claro que o pad thai é obrigatório e o de Laki Kane estava super delicioso. Sem dúvida, uma combinação de topo.
Se lhe apetecer uma bebida, pode adicionar um cocktail à sua refeição por 10 libras, embora digamos que são alcoólicos de fazer cair o chão. Esta oferta é óptima para um mimo a meio da semana, se estiver à procura de coisas baratas para fazer em Londres.

8. Pegue uma refeição coreana de £ 9 para o almoço
Verdadeiramente uma pechincha absoluta, o Green Choy em Tooting Market serve uma deliciosa entrada, prato principal e refrigerante especial para a hora do almoço que rivaliza com a quintessência da refeição Tesco. Em muitos restaurantes de Londres, 9 libras nem sequer dá para um prato principal, mas ter uma refeição inteira por menos de 10 libras? É uma verdadeira pechincha, por isso tivemos de a incluir no nosso resumo das melhores coisas baratas para fazer em Londres!
Optámos por começar com o bao bun, deliciosamente macio, para nos ajudar a chegar à refeição principal, que era a tigela de arroz coreana, também conhecida como bibimbap. No Green Choy, há frango desfiado e tofu estaladiço para escolher e são todos servidos sobre arroz coreano cozinhado a vapor, com pickles caseiros de legumes cobertos com um molho delicioso.
Outros destaques do menu são o hambúrguer, que vem com um maravilhoso pão cor-de-rosa que grita Barbie, e a couve-flor bang bang, que é demasiado boa para não partilhar. Com o especial de almoço a ser uma pechincha, pode até ser tentado a comprar outro prato ou cocktail, que custa £7 e é um preço muito bom para um cocktail londrino, se nos perguntar. O menu de almoço está disponível das 12 às 15 horas, de terça a sexta-feira.

9. Devorar uma pizza de tamanho normal por apenas £6
A Pizza Union veio em nosso socorro com pizzas que começam com um preço incrivelmente baixo de £5,95. As pizzas têm 12 polegadas, são deliciosamente finas e estaladiças, com molhos e coberturas adicionais que têm um custo extra, embora os preços baixos das pizzas lhe deixem certamente alguma margem de manobra para quaisquer extras que pretenda. A Margherita é a mais barata de todas, custando 5,95 €, enquanto a pizza mais cara do menu custa apenas 8,95 € e é a Carne.
Enquanto esperávamos que as nossas pizzas fossem assadas ao estilo romano, não resistimos a beber algumas margaritas congeladas que custam apenas 5,50 €. No final da refeição e com a barriga muito satisfeita, ainda havia pizza suficiente para levar para casa.

10. Coma um curry por apenas £5
O Daily Dose é um café indiano de comida de rua localizado dentro de uma loja de esquina em Shoreditch que é uma joia escondida e uma verdadeira refeição barata. Por apenas cinco libras, pode misturar e combinar caris com arroz. Quem diria que ainda era possível encher a barriga por apenas 5 libras nesta crise de custo de vida? O café também oferece snacks indianos, como chamuças, poppadums, bhajis e chutneys, se quiser algo mais para acompanhar o seu caril.
E embora o caril possa não ser delicioso ou particularmente transformador, com uma refeição quente e saborosa por 5 libras, estamos absolutamente vendidos e não podemos recomendá-lo o suficiente para uma refeição barata.

11. Apimente suas terças-feiras com um acordo de Taco Tuesday
As terças-feiras podem ser um dia um pouco aborrecido na semana. Não é tão movimentado ou temido como a segunda-feira, nem tão excitante como a preparação para o fim de semana ou o próprio fim de semana, mas esta oferta de Taco Tuesday no Caldera é a coisa certa para animar os azuis do início da semana e não custa nada. Todas as terças-feiras, pode desfrutar de uma escolha de dois tacos a partir de £4, com opções deliciosas que incluem tinga de frango, peixe ao estilo baja e bife do lombo.
Tivemos a oportunidade de experimentar toda a variedade de tacos e os nossos destaques foram, sem dúvida, o peixe à moda de Baja, os pimentos recheados e os tacos de camarão com camarão rei, que foram todos muito bons. Agora, não seria uma terça-feira de tacos sem margaritas, e as margaritas do Caldera certamente fizeram o truque por apenas £9 cada. Com uma pequena margem de manobra no orçamento, conseguimos partilhar uma sobremesa entre os três e terminámos a refeição com uns churros de doce de leite. Uma terça-feira bem passada.

12. Delicie-se com um banquete libanês de três pratos com um orçamento limitado
Quem disse que não se pode deliciar com uma refeição de três pratos sem gastar muito dinheiro? Bem, neste local libanês em Balham, pode definitivamente fazê-lo – e com trocos de sobra. O Libano tem uma oferta de almoço de três pratos disponível de segunda a sexta-feira, que não é muito cara e é bastante deliciosa, se assim o podemos dizer. Por apenas 11,95 euros, pode desfrutar de um autêntico banquete que inclui uma entrada, um prato principal e uma sobremesa, o que é uma verdadeira pechincha e até nos deu espaço para comprar limonada caseira por 3,95 euros, que acompanhou muito bem a refeição.
Para começar, optámos pelo babaganoush, que devorámos com o pão achatado que acompanha a refeição. Para o prato principal, escolhemos shawarmas de frango e de borrego, que vieram acompanhados de salada e arroz em doses muito generosas. Para a sobremesa, provámos o pudim de leite libanês que tinha um forte sabor a rosas e, claro, a baklava que atingiu todos os pontos estaladiços e mastigáveis que queríamos. O que mais se pode querer?

13. Um suculento hambúrguer com batatas fritas por apenas £6,99
Um bom hambúrguer suculento é sempre uma boa pedida e encontrámos um local que faz hambúrgueres gourmet caseiros fantásticos por um preço muito baixo. O Burger Nine, em Clapham Junction, é uma hamburgueria que serve hambúrgueres esmagados, feitos com ingredientes locais, cobertos com cebola, pickles e manteiga de nozes, com umas batatas fritas com alecrim que são o máximo. £6,99 por um hambúrguer e batatas fritas deixa muito espaço no orçamento para uma pequena coisa extra.
Optámos por uma limonada refrescante que acompanhou muito bem o hambúrguer e, claro, um pouco de doce para terminar a refeição; um brownie quente com gelado, caramelo pegajoso e nozes torradas.

14. Assistir a um espetáculo de teatro dentro de um pub por apenas £6
Não é segredo que Londres tem uma cena teatral bastante grande e épica, mas os preços dos bilhetes podem ser muito elevados no West End – é aqui que entra o Etcetera Theatre. Escondido por cima do pub The Oxford Arms, em Camden,encontra-se um dos mais pequenos teatros marginais de Londres e uma das saídas nocturnas mais baratas da cidade. O Etcetera Theatre apresenta principalmente peças de teatro de um homem só, com uma variedade de comédias, cabarés e actos musicais, mostrando alguns dos mais recentes talentos do teatro do Reino Unido.
Grandes nomes, incluindo Simon Amstell, Russell Brand, Al Murray, Bill Bailey, Russell Howard e Richard Herring, já passaram pelo pequeno palco do teatro e têm sido um trunfo para lançar artistas nos seus primeiros passos para o sucesso. Para aqueles que têm a sorte de ter entre 16 e 25 anos, podem ver um filme no BFI Southbank pelo preço baixo de £3. É isso mesmo, pode encontrar talvez os bilhetes de cinema mais baratos da cidade mesmo junto ao glorioso Tamisa. O BFI exibe muitos filmes antigos ou alguns filmes de nicho, por isso é uma óptima oportunidade para ver algo que normalmente não veria por um preço muito barato. Para comida malaia autêntica e acessível, o Roti King é o seu homem. Desde o seu humilde começo, com o seu primeiro restaurante em Euston, onde se viam filas de pessoas esfomeadas ao longo da rua, o Roti King tem sido um favorito entre os londrinos pelos seus saborosos rotis e comida de rua a preços razoáveis. A abertura do seu novo posto avançado em Waterloo marca o seu terceiro restaurante na cidade e é uma prova da sua popularidade.
É claro que um roti canai é imperdível no Roti King, é perfeitamente escamoso e acompanhado pela sua escolha de caril e nós também fomos para o nasi goreng. Se estiver com muita fome e tiver um companheiro de jantar para dividir alguns itens do menu, recomendamos uma bebida de chá de leite quente chamada teh tarik e um roti doce com geléia de coco para terminar a refeição.
