Excitement for Taylor Swift’s London concert dates may be reaching fever pitch here in London, but Swift isn’t the only global mega-star set to perform in London. None other than one of the greatest performers, singers, and songwriters of all time, Beatles legend Paul McCartney, has just announced a series of gigs in London.
Fans of the music mega-star will no doubt remember his festival-defining headlining performance at Glastonbury in 2022, which was widely hailed as one of his greatest-ever live gigs. During this performance, McCartney made a promise to return to the UK. And he’s holding true to his word, announcing two London dates this December for his ‘Got Back’ tour. These are the first London performances since his last dates at The O2 all the way back in 2018!
The two London dates come hot on the heels of two performances in Manchester, as well as two dates in Paris and Madrid. These in turn come in the wake of a criss-crossing continent-spanning series of gigs in South America.
Said Paul McCartney:
“I’m excited to be ending my year and 2024 tour dates in the UK. It’s always such a special feeling to play shows on our home soil. It’s going to be an amazing end to the year. Let’s get set to party. I can’t wait to see you.”
Paul McCartney UK tour dates
Paul McCartney has announced two dates each at Manchester’s Co-op Live venue and London’s The O2.

- Sunday 15 December – Co-op Live, Manchester, UK
- Wednesday 18 December – The O2, London, UK

Given the lack of dates following the two London performances, we’ve got our fingers crossed for even more gigs to be announced.
