If you’re a big fan of playing dress up then you’ve no doubt already planned your Halloween outfit, have practiced your ghoulish make up countless times in the mirror and have stocked up on all the fake blood. Heck, maybe you’ve already spent some time dressed as a zombie on World Zombie Day. But if you’re like me and you haven’t even thought of an outfit (or are contemplating whether or not to even leave the house at all on All Hallows Eve), then buck up your ideas and get brainstorming on Pinterest. From the 24th October you also might want to head the Boxpark in Shoreditch, where Oxfam are setting up shop – a pop up shop of hand-selected donated Halloween clothing and accessories, to be precise.
The shop will be open every day until 30th October (perfect for you last minute planners). Some of the pieces will include Victorian and Gothic fashion pieces, as well as special items such as vintage wedding dresses (shotgun being the Zombie Bride, London!). All money made goes towards Oxfam’s global goal of finding sustainable solutions to fight poverty, so do something lovely and pop in for a browse.
