Legendary Bourbon Wild Turkey is helping you get in the spirit of things this Old Fashioned Week with a series of amazing Old Fashioned-focused events.
No, we didn’t know ‘Old Fashioned Week’ was a thing, but we also didn’t know ‘National Cheese Lover’s Day’ was real until recently and that turned out to be great… So just roll with it! Wild Turkey is putting on a guided cocktail tour, taking over the Ten Bells, and helping you spruce up with bourbon and beard trims at Murdock London. Check out our guide to the four best ways to celebrate with Wild Turkey this year…
The Old Fashioned is probably the most sophisticated cocktail around, and its creation is steeped in history – you definitely won’t be ordering it by the jug at your local Spoons – so where better to showcase this cocktail classic than The Ten Bells in Spitalfields. This historic London boozer is still decorated floor to ceiling with its original Victorian tiling and has been going strong since the the middle of the 18th century. Talk about heritage! The Ten Bells is celebrating the history of the classic Old Fashioned with the Wild Turkey Taste of Real Kentucky first floor takeover on Friday 10th November.
For just £10 you’ll be able to experience the Wild Turkey Piano Bar, with musicians playing live bluegrass music, as you taste test two perfectly mixed Old Fashioneds alongside a selection of Kentucky dishes. There’ll even be a choice of three special Ten Bells Old Fashioned twists, so you can really make the night your own. An evening of entertainment, food and two drinks for less than the average cost of just one cocktail? Sign us up! Get your tickets here.
