Los Mochis has been transporting the tastebuds of hungry Londoners from Tokyo to Tulum since setting up shop in Notting Hill back in 2021. And now they’re back, and ready to take their fusion feasts to new heights with a brand new rooftop restaurant, right in the heart of the capital city.
Founded by Markus Thesleff (the mastermind behind the likes of Sale e Pepe and Viajante87), Los Mochis seamlessly fuses ‘Japanese elegance with Mexican vibrancy’, celebrating the very best of both cuisines. The new spot has taken over the entire ninth floor of 100 Liverpool Street, covering a whopping 14,000 square-feet.
The restaurant is now one of the largest in the city, boasting a main dining space, two intimate private dining rooms, a sushi bar, a wine and sake room, and an Agaveria bar. Oh, and there’s also a gigantic outdoor terrace, complete with sensational scenic views of some of the capital’s best-loved landmarks, with a retractable roof (because – well – London weather, and all that).
Diners can expect both style and substance when visiting the new restaurant with its gorgeous ambience, stylish decor, and downright delicious food.
On the topic of that delicious food; the the kitchen is led by ex-Nobu executive chef, Leonard Tanyag, and the menu has been carefully curated to showcase his creativity and versatility. From raw seafood to robata-grilled meats; each dish is made using the freshest and finest ingredients. Los Mochis are also delivering on the beverage front. They’ve got a gigantic range of rare tequilas, mezcals, wine, and sake. We’ll certainly drink to that.
The bar is set to host regular events and DJ sets and will stay open until 3am on the weekends, giving guests the chance to dine, drink, and dance the night away. What more could you ask for, hey?
