London’s Gone Bananas! Hundreds Of Gorillas Will Run Through The City This Weekend

Don’t panic if you catch sight of an ape running across Tower Bridge this weekend – Boris Johnson isn’t trying to spontaneously usurp the Mayoral throne. You actually may spot hundreds of running apes because, on Saturday 17th September, The Great Gorilla Run returns to London for its 14th year. Since beginning, they’ve raised a whopping £2 million towards gorilla conservation and poverty reduction projects in Africa – and they’re still swinging strong! It’s a 8km race (which you can walk or jog) that involves a lot of monkeying around. And don’t worry, the gorilla suit is provided for you AND you get to keep it! Think of all the fun you could have in the office…
