Named after the ‘formidable’ Italian woman ‘Lina’ who opened up their first delicatessen back in 1944, Lina Stores has been providing Londoners with the very best Italian produce for over seven decades. Serving up their lip-smackingly good pasta to the hungry people of the capital city across their six London locations, Lina Stores has become a firm favourite on London’s pasta scene.
Well, it just so happens that Lina Stores is the gift that keeps on giving because to celebrate World Pasta Day (which should be every day, as far as I’m concerned), they’re giving their diners the chance to tuck in to any of their pasta dishes for just £5 a dish. Because what’s better than regular pasta? Cheap pasta, of course.
That’s right, to mark the day in true Italian fashion, on Wednesday October 25 (between 3pm-5pm), you can scoff a whole plate of some of the scrummiest pasta in town for just a fiver. Perfect for those of us who are having to pinch the penne-s.
To participate in the celebration, guests can head on over to any of the Lina Stores locations and munch on menu favourites such as the signature Tagliolini al Tartufo, Linguine con Granchio e Limone, Ravioli con Burrata e Salsa di Datterini – and many more. You could say: the pasta-bilities are endless.
You’ll find Lina Stores in Marylebone, King’s Cross, The City, Soho and Clapham and you can get any dish for £5 between 3pm-5pm on Wednesday October 25.
