Just as we managed to convince our bosses to let us work from home, they’ve gone and suspended the tube strike. And we’re just *so* happy about it…
The #tubestrike planned for Sunday-Wednesday has been suspended. Aside from planned works, services are expected to run as normal this week

The strikes, which were planned for the beginning of next week, would have caused major disruption for Londoners. 3,000 members of staff — all members of the RMT union — intended to walkout in protest over job cuts, starting Sunday evening and lasting until Wednesday afternoon. However, in an exciting plot twist, it seems that, after an emergency meeting with the union, over 60% of jobs that were initially cut have been reinstated. So, it seems we’re all back to the ordinary ole’ grind on Monday morning. Whoopdy-doo.
