We’re not telling porkies. As ridiculous as it sounds, you can now sink your teeth into a Pulled Pork Sundae. If you thought the world had already gone a bit pulled-pork crazy (it seems you can add pulled pork to anything now… pizzas, burgers, salads…), we feel that sundaes must be the final straw.
This dish is an addition to TGI Friday’s new menu. For those of you who don’t like mixing their sweets and their savouries, there is no need to worry. This sundae is entirely savoury. No mixing of meat and sugar – and no ice cream at all. The glass is filled up with BBQ pulled pork, bacon and melted cheese, swirled between layers of mashed potato and topped with strips of jalapeno. Wowzer.
