Fight the bottomless sorrow of 2020 with bottomless raclette.
Some days, I fear that The Cheese Bar is too pure for this world. How can a fromage empire which has already given us a floating cheese barge and a cheese conveyor belt continue to survive in the darkness of 2020? But rest assured, The Cheese Bar are soldiering on, and having hit upon great success with their bottomless raclette during the Eat Out to Help Out scheme, they’ve elected to continue it through September. Gorgeous, oozing raclette improves just about anything, and with our heavily-curtailed summer just starting to wind down, The Cheese Bar know that we’re going to need every spark of light possible in the coming months. Hence, a bottomless cheese feast, where new potatoes, glazed ham, vegetables, and cornichons can all be lovingly drenched in endless Ogleshield raclette, for 90 minutes of feasting. Plus, it’ll only cost you £12 per person (a minor increase from their EOTHO-inspired £9 during August, but still a frankly bargainous deal).
You’ll be able to get your hands on the bottomless raclette every Wednesday evening during September – a quick glance at the calendar reveals there are five such opportunities to do so – with sittings beginning at 5, 6:45, and 8:30pm. It’s only available at The Cheese Bar’s Camden outpost, and with the restaurant operating at a 50% capacity to keep staff and customers safe, I’d wager you’ll need to book sooner rather than later to enjoy it!
