Ever watched a conveyor belt of sushi ferrying small plates of food to hungry customers and thought, ‘okay, but what if it was cheese?’ If so, we’ve got just the place for you to check out. Presenting: Pick and Cheese, and their world-first cheese conveyor belt.
Did you think we were gonna miss a chance to check it out? Of course not! Take a look at our visit here:
Nestled within the KERB-run Seven Dials Market, Pick & Cheese serves hungry Londoners an endless supply of cheese, all delivered via a 40-metre conveyor belt. On each plate, you’ll find a cheese paired expertly with a condiment or snack, and there’s also an assortment of charcuteries trundling their way along the conveyor (and into our hungry mouths).

The ever-changing selection could include everything from Devon Blue paired with Red Onion & Port Marmalade to Tunworth with honeyed garlic, Goats MIlk Cheddar with Roasted Beetroot, and much more. Oh, and plates start at just £4.35 each!
The ‘off-belt dishes’ include the famous grilled cheese sandwiches, baked cheese, and sweet treats. Don’t miss out on the mind-bending Port & Stilton Affogato!

Their wine list skews heavily towards natural and organic options, with an emphasis on small producers. But there’s also plenty of craft beer and cider, or soft drinks, to keep everyone happy.
Plates are handily colour-coded, much like your favourite sushi conveyor belt restaurant. So you can at least pretend you’re being price-conscious as the plates pile up in front of you. But if you’d rather go to town on as much cheese as possible, with one simple price, there’s an option for you. Allow us to present:
Bottomless Cheese & Charcuterie Plates
That’s right, folks. Every Wednesday Pick and Cheese offers up a bottomless plates experience for less than £30 a person. How brie-lliant is that? You’re welcome to as many of the plates from the belt as you can handle within an hour and fifteen minutes. (Although, the high-value yellow plates are unfortunately not included.) Naturally, bookings are a must – who doesn’t love bottomless cheese, after all?

For even more of a cheesy hit, head north to their Camden Cheese Bar, pop over to their cheesemonger Funk, or queue on the quayside for some floating fromage at The Cheese Barge.
