With the BAFTAs just weeks away, a stunning new exhibition of celebrity portraits has landed in London. Featuring photographs taken by Lorenzo Agius, ‘Look At Me: Framing The Iconic’ features iconic images and portraits that are among the most recognisable shots taken. The pictures have taken over the Corinthia London hotel’s public spaces with enormous, suspended displays.
Agius is best known for creating the legendary campaign for Trainspotting, ensuring young adults would have the perfect poster for their dorm rooms and teenage bedrooms. He’s spent his three-decade career “capturing the charisma, eccentricity and humanity of cultural icons”. You’ll have to act fast to see the celebrity portraits, though, as they’re only on display for one month, this February.
The photos aren’t just hung on the walls around the venue. Instead, they float in space, inviting viewers to get up close to the shots. In total, there are 44 portraits on display, from the breadth of Agius’ career, encompassing film and music superstars.

- Ewan McGregor
