London Town is full of the glitz and the glam – and no we’re not just talking about high-end boutiques and five-star hotels. You’ll often stumble across celebs as you wander around town, and that goes for our pubs, bars and restaurants too. So, without further ado, here’s our roundup of ten celebrity-owned restaurants and bars in London for you to explore:
1. Porte Noire
Idris Elba is a man of many talents. Legendary actor – hello Luther – world-class DJ, and now – bar owner extraordinaire! Named after his established wine and champagne brand, Porte Noire, the relatively-new bar in King’s Cross will offer you the chance to sip on these creations in plush surroundings. Ideal for city dwellers, the interior is high-end with a touch of industrial (think tasteful exposed piping), plus lots of lovely detailing like monochrome coasters. There are about 800 different wine bins, with vino ranging from sweet to dry and everything in between.
While wine and champers make up most of the menu (oh darling!), some top-end spirits will also be on offer. Plus, if you get peckish, there’s a full French brasserie-style menu to tuck into, featuring the likes of an Oeuf Meurette – a classy Burgundian plate of poached eggs with red wine sauce and slow cooked beef cheek. It’s also dog friendly too!
📍You’ll find Porte Noire at Gasholder 10, A 1, Leois Cubitt Walk, London, N1C 4BY.

Named after both of their partners, it’s a lovely gastropub set right in the heart of Notting Hill, and they specialise in tasty tapas, champagne and the ‘best cocktails in West London’ – what more could you ask for hey?!
All the food here is freshly-prepared using the finest ingredients from throughout the UK, and dishes include garlic and chilli prawns, mushroom and Manchego croquettes and even bloody oysters! Well, given that this is a celebrity-owned restaurant, you may as well pull the boat out.

3. Walmer Castle
Another Notting Hill joint here, the Walmer Castle is owned by none other than David Beckham – yep, seriously – and his good pal, the celebrated film director Guy Ritchie. With three roomy floors, it’s certainly spacious, and it went through a major redevelopment back in 2022 to become a ‘a restaurant, cocktail and whisky bar’. Now we can’t argue with that one…
Their food menu celebrates all the best produce from Speyside, and it features standout dishes such as a crispy lobster, crab and shrimp burger and a spiced cauliflower steak. For dessert, make sure you go for the cheese board which features a delicious spread, and wash it all down with a dram of whisky. Well you may as well treat yourself right? They also do a mean brunch here too.

Sitting in the shadow of the landmark BT Tower, it’s a great spot in which to while away the hours, and they specialise in an array of seasonal small plates, sharing boards and a range of craft beers, boutique spirits and French wines too.
They’ve also got their own brew here – dubbed ‘Gritchie’ – which is brewed at Ashgrove Farm on the Wiltshire/Dorset border. It’s darn tasty it has to be said, and the farm also provides all the sustainable and fresh produce which is found here. Don’t miss out on their mouthwatering Sunday roasts which feature all the trimmings – it’s a real winner it has to be said.

They’ve got over 20 craft beers on tap here, and it’s even co-owned by none other than 80’s singer Rick Astley!
There’s inspiration dotted throughout from Astley’s very own music videos, and the decor inside is daringly Danish, with lots of wood and bold colours to complement the array of beer taps – and not to mention some great music on the speakers too. It’s definitely worth checking out for a pint or two.

It offers a creative cocktail menu and seasonal dishes across their two floors, and by their own admission, they’re aiming to be the area’s go-to ‘five-star dive bar‘. The low candlelight and vinyl records playing 70s disco makes for a speakeasy cocktail bar atmosphere, and the Pan-Asian food is absolutely delicious!
