Yesterday, upholding tradition and all, a woman used the front of a south London cinema to make a public leap year proposal to her partner. Where film listings were once displayed, now read “Will you marry me Jay? x” at the front of the Ritzy cinema, Brixton. One onlooker even described it as ‘So Brixton!’…

Staff at the cinema said they did not yet know whether Jay had accepted or even seen the display. We wonder…come on Jay! Get in touch and put us out of our misery. This is not the first time for Ritzy, either…last year a woman proposed to her girlfriend with a romantic message displayed on the front the cinema (to which she said yes, you’ll be pleased to know)!
UPDATE: Secret London HQ were told some ground-breaking news this morning – Jay said yes! Becca, the now bride-to-be, also sent over some pictures of the happy couple…
Our hearts are melting!!!
