They’ve carefully selected every aspect of the experience, from the personal protective equipment to the weapons and the breakable objects. You’re invited to “shatter, obliterate, and conquer your stress in a controlled environment, all to the rhythm of your own soundtrack.” Keep an eye out for their special events, like the “Smash The Car” experience where, you guessed it, you’ll get to smash a car to pieces.

2. Smash It Rage Room, New Eltham
Just South of the river, you’ll find this rage room to unleash your inner Hulk. It’s the ultimate adult playground, just a train ride away, where all types of smashing, bashing and thrashing is allowed! South East London’s only rage room – Smash It Rage Room has everything you need for a smashing good time. They’ll provide the protective gear, the weapon selection, and a large selection of items to smash. They’ll even provide a special soundtrack if you wish. Sounds like therapy to us!

3. Rage Out, Maidstone

You can Rage Out for 30 or 60 minutes in this “destructively therapeutic experience”. Vent your frustration with the likes of hammers, baseball bats and crowbars, and soundtrack the experience with Rage Out’s personally curated playlist or your own music. If you have your own objects you’d like to destroy, you can check out the “Bring Your Own” Rage Room, which also has to option to buy extra devices and objects to break.
Rage Out also offers an axe-throwing experience that’s equally suited for beginners as it is for Viking warriors. After all, what goes better with smashing stuff than throwing sharp axes at stuff?

4. Urban Xtreme, Colchester
This rage room is the first of its kind in Essex – and it offers much more than just a room for breaking things. Visitors can also check out the venue’s Axe & Knife Throwing, Rage Rooms, Arcade Game Centre, and Airsoft Shooting. It’s also one of the few options where participants don’t have to be 18 and above to engage in the smashing mayhem, with different options allowing anyone over 8 to get in on the fun.

Adding to Essex’s list of rage rooms is Angry Smash, which offers “a fun adrenaline filled yet therapeutic experience that helps [clients] manage stress and anger”. They can tailor your experience for a solo or group activity, and you only need to be 12 or older to participate. There’s even a ‘Vehicle Smash Experience’ that allows you to go ham on cars, caravans, and even a luton truck. Because, don’t lie, we’ve all dreamed of smashing up a car, right?
