Yet Another Strike Over The Night Tube Could Be A-Brewin’…

Bad news for all you weekend revellers and night owls. The night Tube, already unfashionably late to the London transport scene, (it was supposed to launch last September), might be instigating another tube strike. Workers in the Rail, Maritime and Transport (RMT) union will be balloting until 24th May over an “inferior” deal regarding their pay and pension conditions. Pray to the transport gods that these issues come to a speedy close, as previous negotiations took 18 months before an agreement was secured.

While TfL hasn’t revealed an official date for the launch of the 24 hour weekend service, rumour on the streets is that everything should be up and running by the summer. For any fellow Uber addicts out there, be strong. You can have a free ride on us in the mean time…
