For the first time ever, the BBC Good Food Show will be hosting an epic feast in the Tower of London’s moat.

Now the old moat is all dried up, it’s become a fantastic space for large-scale events and, this September, BBC Good Food will be making the most of this historic venue. They’re holding a food festival filled with eating opportunities, inspired by the decadent feasts of London’s past.

There will be hundreds of food stalls selling premium ingredients and offering tasters. We’re not saying you should go around every stall trying everything as an alternative to buying lunch, but you definitely could, You know, if you felt like it. Alternatively, there’ll be a load of pop-up restaurants for you to feast at if you don’t believe there’s such a thing as a free lunch.

Not only does Feast give you the opportunity to stuff yourself silly, you’ll also be able to enjoy some celebrity chef spotting. MasterChef’s John Tororde will be joining the fray, along with accomplished chef Michel Roux Jr and BBC2’s Tom Kerridge. Not that spotting them will be too hard, because they’re all hosting cooking demonstrations in the Feast Kitchen over the course of the three day festival.

The festival is being held 22nd – 24th September, which means we’re actually just crossing over into Autumn, but we’re ignoring that technicality in the hope that the weather remains lovely and summery. You can find the Tower of London at St Katharine’s & Wapping, London EC3N 4AB. Book your tickets for the three day extravaganza here.
